I'm surprised that no real alternative exists to ExpiredDomains for droplists

Even paid tools like Estibot, Dotdb etc that provide droplists don't provide the anywhere near the range of extensions or filters supported by ExpiredDomains.

Most others like Spamzilla etc focus on filters based on SEO data only.

Hi

when something works well and is free,
then would a paid alternative get any business?

how many more tools does one need?

imo....

You can pay me to search expireddomains for you?

Unfortunately, the biggest problem with ExpiredDomains is, it doesn't allow export. I can only copy 200 names at a time. And even copying, copies only the domains and not the metrics.

They don't give API access too.

Estibot Paid access gives both Exports and API, but their extensions/filters are quite limited.

My filters at ED give me approx 1000-1500 names per day across lists, and I filter them further using other tools.

if expired domains started charging $0.00001 a year tomorrow, his traffic will go down by 98% if we exclude googlebot, it would be 99% This is not because expired domains isn't a very valuable tool, its because domainers don't like to pay for anything and would rather lose their eyesight going through expired and dropping domains printed on dirty napkins than pay to get access to something of major value.

I think he can simply charge users for export or API access.

Others can continue to use it free of cost.

ExpiredDomains has been running for years. Creating a similar tool will require a lot of resources.
The free tool is superb and I don't think there would be any great success with a paid one unless there is a major USP.

Yes, ExpiredDomains.net is one of the most comprehensive platforms for finding expiring and deleted domains across a wide range of extensions, with extensive filters for metrics like backlinks, age, and dictionary words. While paid tools like Estibot and DotDB offer some droplist functionality, they often lack the breadth of TLDs and filtering capabilities that ExpiredDomains provides.

Many other tools, like SpamZilla, primarily focus on SEO-related metrics such as spam scores, backlinks, and domain authority, rather than offering a full-fledged expired domain search experience. Itโ€™s surprising that no true alternative exists with the same level of detail and customization, especially given the demand for high-quality expired domains in the domain investing and SEO communities.

We accelerated the development of expireddomains.com. If you let us know what metrics and filters you are missing on our site, it might be possible that we add those soon.
What would you consider a fair price for API/rows?
