PageRank Scam

I noticed "www.beats-connected.com" for sale on eBay, and the seller claimed it was a PR6. I checked it out with this site:

http://www.seologs.com/pr-check/pagerank-dc.html

They check many servers all at once, and if you put the site in, notice how all the pageranks change to http://www.most-interactive.com

Seems a little odd, it was pretty obvious to stay away from the seller when i saw he had "private" feedback, but this is just not on.

Yep, the PR scam has been going on for quite some time now. Always pays to remind people of whats going on.

Aye, i thought it may of been going on a while, but hadnt seen anything about it. Always some scammer trying to rip us off, pity its just so hard/pointless to report people on ebay.

Why would anyone want to explain to you how to set up a scam? Sounds like you want to do it yourself?

i have seen this kind of scam before.

it alter one of the robot files on your main dir. so much that you can even change it to PR10 , at the risk is google banning your site.

maybe this could be it.

Embarrassing, what I meant was "I have heard", not "I have". I have a site called antiphishers.com to fight scammers and phishers alike. I want to know exactly how it was done before upload my site. I did not mean to scam anyone, you need to trust me.
