Greetings.

If this is the wrong place to mention this or I'm doing it incorrectly, please move or delete as needed. Thanks.

Was heavily into IM and the dot com domain registrations back in 1998-2000, chose to stick with my 'career' of Radio DJ (oops):talk:). Made about $200 to $300/mo thru this domain internet marketing back then. That 'Career' ended in December and I joined the ranks of unemployment so exploring options. Haven't really 'worked' the domain since, though, I've just started to try and 'build' on it again.

Thought I'd see if any worthwhile appraisals are out there for this.

Again... moneymania.com

I've seen anywhere from $1600 to $35K on the 'freebie' appraisal sites (yah, I know... reality :|. Have also considered partnering with a 'current' seo/marketing pro to build it up and sell for profit split, but, just a thought at this moment.

I have a few other 4 and 5 character domains I may consider selling as well, but I'll see how this one goes before posting.

Any 'serious' direction, suggestions, or bids would be greatly appreciate.

Thanks for the help.

Greg

Great domain for the niche. Very catchy.

Could work for affiliate marketing, a finance blog, a tv show excerpt for finances, etc.

I could maybe point you in a direction where my buddy (an affiliate marketer) might throw you some cash for it; he's just now starting to blog on his 'first/lastname.com' although a name like this would suit him better.

End-user: $300-$3500 all depending on how you plan to market it
Reseller: $80-$300 all depending on how they planned to market it

Just my opinion. I'm sure others will chime into this one.

Thanks, zeeteegee

Appreciate the feedback. Actually, a few years back there was 'someone' in the national media that was advertising the phrase or product 'MONEYMANIA'. I actually remember seeing it, but as $$$ millions flashed before my eyes, I never persued trying to 'sell' the domain to them, but it was there. Should've tried, I guess.

As for your signature of 3 to 4 letter domains, I have '3bob.com' and '4bobs.com' that are 'possibilities' on my 'sell' list.

Again.. Thanks for the feedback!

Greg

BTW...zeeteegee... Just noticed you were in Honolulu! Were you there in '97 to '99? I was doing radio there then. Small world :)

Well, I'm sure that chance may come again soon, given the current times we are in. That opportunity might come knockin again soon. Realistically, unless you plan to hold it for another few years, I'd hit up those affiliate marketing gurus; they'd love a name like this.

Yup. Since 92. Which station? What name did you go by?
Couple other regulars here from Hawaii too.

Thanks again, zeeteegee! Not completely destitute yet, so it's not an emergency to sell it. Not really interested in settling for anything less than the 12+ years of registration and hosting fees. Think the 'brand' is there for someone.
