if you can buy a domain like this for registration fees from a reseller i think that you are very lucky as the possibilities are endless for this domain.
OrganTransplants.com is valued at $38k at estibot and i have no plans to sell this domain near reg fees at all.
can i have more views from other members please ??

Google usage:
"organ transplant" = 1,320,000
"organ transplants" = 821,000
"organ implants" = 1,880
"organ implant" = 1,110

An organ implant really isn't an organ transplant. A transplant is where they move the organ from one body to another. An organ implant is where an artificially grown organ is placed in the body, although this too could be called an organ transplant.

Your best bet is to hold this domain for 10-20 years. Hopefully the practice is common by then.

So for now, reg fee to mid $xx to the average domain buyer. Someone who runs a site dealing with cloned organs might give you more, but not enough to warrant you having brought up OrganTrasnplants.com. They are not in the same league, for now.

well i knew the difference between organ transplant and implant and if you are interested then read about bio hybrid organs and the research going into their development which will then come into category of organ implants.you might be right they are not in the same league now but in future organ implant would be a hotter term then organ transplants except in cases like heart transplants.well thats my view about this domain.

HeartImplant.com created 2000.
LiverImplant.com created 2002.

just answer my few questions.
will these people sell their domain for reg fee to me now??
would some domainer sell OrganImplants.com to me for reg fees 3-4 years down the line or maybe even now ??

i hope you get my point considering i invested only $6 on this domain in this ripe domain market where slightest oppurtunities are seized at the instant they show up.i could not let this domain go by just coz it values at reg fees currently and let others seize it, if only what i get to lose is $30 for 5 years and that too may be high considering that renewal charges are getting cheap by the day.thanks

your questions are not relevant.

appraisals represent the value TODAY...not years in the future. If you are convinced that you are correct, then keep the domains for years and see what happens.

The point is, you asked for opinions, and you got them. Good luck with your decisions..I hope that they do well for you

Thats what i wrote in my first post, yes you are right i wanted views on this domain but sensible views only.

here are some news items to support my views.....
(For the first time, scientists have implanted a human organ, the bladder, in seven children after using their own cells to grow the organs in a lab in the first clinical trial of its kind, according to a study published in the Lancet medical journal.

The children, ages 4 to 19, were born with defective bladders because of spina bifida and received replacement bladders between 1999 and 2001 at Children's Hospital of Boston, part of Harvard Medical School.

The technology, which holds promise for other organs, including the heart, kidney, pancreas and liver, was developed by pediatric urologist Anthony Atala and colleagues formerly of Boston Children's and now Wake Forest University Institute for Regenerative Medicine, according to the April 4 online edition of the Lancet, a British medical journal.)

(A 70-year-old man is the second patient in the world to receive a self-contained artificial heart.

Tom Christerson of Central City, KY "is now recovering in the intensive care unit at Jewish Hospital [Louisville, KY]," Abiomed Inc., manufacturer of the device, said in a news release.

University of Louisville surgeons Laman Gray Jr and Robert Dowling performed the procedure on Christerson on September 13.)

still if you feel that this domain is worth reg fee now then theres no point in arguing and lets stop this discussion here.thanks.

Let's put it this way..... The speculative value on this domain is possibly much higher than it's actual 2008 value.

It's like CubsWinTheWorldSeries.com or something. We can't tell you how much someone is willing to gamble on the domain that it will happen.

I recommend not asking any appraisals for domains, just let people bid on it and see how far they are willing to bid to get it. everyone has his own opinion on how much he thinks a certain domain is worth.

i agree with you DubDubDubDot and respect your views but would like to correct that organ implants have already begun as you can read from my previous post.
Ichigo91 i cannot go by your recommendations to stop asking for appraisals coz appraisal process here lets people like me learn a lot more than current value like possibilities with the domain name,is it better to sell the domain now or sell it later, whether to develop a site or not ,and many more useful suggestions that people tell here from their experience.thanks.

Sometimes its what you do with the domain big money quickly went out in the 90s..so if you dev the domain, you have to feed the domain what it needs to grow....
