That actually seems like a good one word domain name even for .Us. Go to Estibot.com or Valuate.com, see what they say its worth, then try to sell it for 25% of what its listed for

Terrible advice.

This is a premium keyword in a not so strong ccTLD, still saying that this should easily be $x,xxx++.

Yep, premium keyword with several potential options for end users. This domain is excellent for both a new business or for an established company. For example, this domain will look good in an Adwords ad. Resale: low $xxxx range. Have you got any offers on this one?

Yes, I've had offers on this one before.

Well then Dave put your money where your mouth is and offer to buy it from her for $x,xxx+. If not, then you're just like sports writers who criticize teams for not spending millions of their money for players. Its easy to spend other people money when its not yours.

Huh?

An honest appraisal doesn't mean you would personally pay the suggested price. This is clearly worth low $xxxx... Using an automated appraisal tool is a lost cause :imho:

A very good time in the world too with this topic.
Organic foods are on the rise in popularity in the US as well.

Very good domain.
I'll agree with that x,xxx on this one from the right end user.

Mid $xxxx. I think the .us is a positive, because people want organic produce to be fresh and local.

What's with your bad attitude?

People offer appraisals in various fields from art to jewelry to real estate to domains.

Just because you make an appraisal does not mean it is, or should be an offer to buy.

Automated appraisals are worthless.

Not totally disagreeing with you but they can still give you a rough idea if something is worth something or not. I generally think you can take any value on Estibot or Valuate that is over $1,000 and multiply that times 25% to use as a selling base price if you are actually trying to get physical money by selling something now as opposed to holding something for years for which no one will offer you actual money for. That was my original point which some dude(s) didn't grasp. You may believe that something is worth say $1,000 which may mean that you might have to hold it for years to get that price or just accept the fact that you'll only get 1/4 of that value if you sell it today. 100% of nothing is nothing as opposed to 25% of something.

Alternatively you can get several opinions by people on Forums like this and use them as a rough guides provided the opinions are by people you can trust as opposed by people you'd be an idiot to trust just based on gut instinct.

Complete waste of time using automated appraisals, they are worthless.

Organic.us , great name in a faded extension but still low xxxx. Please note, I am giving an appraisal not making an offer.

Strange that .us never really made it, personally dropped a lot of quite good quality keyword(s) as could not see any further potential for the time being.

Out of curiosity, I went to Estibot and put in Organic.us and it said it was valued at $3,900. Using my formula of taking 25% of that valuation, I would have offered it for sale at $1,000 with the belief I would be able to make an actual sale at that price within a year. I do not see how that is so far off from what people have posted, sorry.

Ironically, Valuate says $3,900 which aligns with petty saboteurs pretty well.
Normally an appraisal bot cannot account for innumerable nuances that vex the domain market.
Research shows that the more opinions you get, the closer you get to actual ("empirical") value.
That is why these forums are so useful and popular.

With 1/4 million global exacts and CPC of $1-1.50, I value this domain at $x,xxx or more.

If you need a tool to appraise domains, then domaining is not for you. No tool can teach you what makes a domain valuable. You are going to lose money on worthless regs like so many newbies, and it's a fact...
Very sad that we still have to dispel that kind of myth in 2014...
