I have been observing and (lol) replying to some posts for 'Names Wanted'.

What is this? Most requests are very specific as to wants but willing to pay only reg fee or less.

There are lots of responses - but almost never any posts as to what was sold and for how much. The majority of these responses just linger on and on and go off the tables after a while.

I realize for the most part these are 'wholesale' requests. Nevertheless, I would think common courtesy would demand at least some feedback from the requesting party to those who have taken the time to respond.

In my humble opinion, some of this is being done solely to get information on domain names and their expiration dates.

Please correct me if I'm wrong or if I have offended anyone.

Well expiration dates are not very hard to get but it would be pretty interesting to see how much the domains have been sold for, but that is in no way obligatory of the buyer, so if they do not wish to disclose the amount, that's perfectly fine.

Well I agree with what you are saying pimpdaddy. I am really not interested in the final sales price.

My point is that there is little or no feedback from the guy that requests a list of names to the one who responds.

So - after a while people are going to quit taking the time to respond because they never get any feedback.

Well you can assume one of the two, the seeker did not find any of the domains interesting or the two parties have taken their correspondence to a more private level (PM, messaging programs, etc..)
