The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

They are undervalued in current market I think. It is a very good solution for those companies that cannot use the LL.com since it is taken.

Just look at H-D.com ... it is Harley Davidson. HD.com is also developed.

They are not seen much on forums, because there are less than 800 of these. And people wait most probably for end users.

I personally think that a "-" in a short domain has as much definition as a low quality letter and L-L.com may very well catch up to LLL.com and then have values to match the LLL.com.

Only have one Y--I ..com- bought it because its a popular last name. I have no idea values on these though. I just thought they were more a domainer collectible right now more then anything (just because you don't see sales or anything).

There was a nice L-L.com on Namejet a few weeks back, C-S.com I dropped out after it went over $2200

Gary do you have Y-I.com or Y--I.com ?

Threre are only 676 of these domains and I agree with the others as you won't see many sales as they are very rare and in the hands of collectors and large registries whom know their true worth.

3character.com lists their values as starting at $2000, however, I've seen a few on the market for $3,500 and haven't seen one under that price. Actual words like G-O.com and premium letters sell for xxxxx and up range. Some sample sites are listed below...

m-e.com
b-e.com
i-t.com
i-f.com

There are also lots of undeveloped and parked sites in the hands of the major players. M-y.com is an excellent example as it belongs to Buydomains.com and has a current enduser price tag of 200,000. ( So I doubt you'll be seeing that one on the boards anytime soon.)

What about L-L.net min $300 ? I do not see them for sale either so I guess everyone just holding them. I own one H-U.net Heads up Network I think it sounds cool so I might develop the domain.

I think Equity was talking about only single hyphen names, not the double hyphens :)

I would pay $500 in case you would sell it :).

My bad, thought it was on both. I know someone with a nice collection on here who has been quietly buying them but I have none.

Inbuilt value. But honestly, I will choose a LLL.com over a L-L.com anyday and I believe I'm not the only one who thinks that. :imho:

But with LL at 500K or 1 million (if you can even get it) the only other thing is L-L for certain businesses. I think they are a great investment for end-users.

L-L.com are the most undervalued domain fullstop.
Of any type , extension etc

When u consider how rare they are, how the min. value of LL.com is 100k, and it is not unusual to see 500k for them, yet resellers want to pay 3k lol

I would never ever sell one of these babies to a reseller. I want to buy more but is hard. I also only buy ones where i have a plan for also so doesnt matter if i dont sell for many years.

L-L.com = Excellent buy - hugely undervalued at the moment.

Not so sure about L-L.net, though.

yup I was in that up to the very end- bidding from my mobile phone -then snapnames locked me out due to a 'security issue' so I had to stop. One of the most frustrating things in domaining to have happend to me in ages- would have gone higher...
