Open full screen window

I am making a site. The index page opens in full screen window automatically using a java script.

The full screen window looks great thru IE in WIN98 os.
But thru WIN XP, the top bar with controls appear.

How to get rid of the top bar?
Plz guide.

If you want people to use your site you should not do this.

Rowan has a good point. Many users dislike this and will not visit the site again. It is a good idea but you have to think of people as a whole. Just because you like something doesn't mean the majority will.

Yes this is just like those non-right-click similar scripts that drives your traffic away...

I think it's best if you let the user know "to see this site's full potential, press F11" or something :yell:
