I will disagree with you on this one DomainBizDev, all the trademarks you have cited are used for whatever purpose other than the actual meaning of the word. If you mean the comic book character member of the X-men, well the only problem would be the developer making a comic book with a character called Gambit otherwise no problem at all. The site would be developed under the only use the phrase can convey, a place for online gamble using in this estrict sense will no provoke any TM issue as you cannot TM the word "flights" to sell plain tickets but you can TM the word "flights" to as an ice cream brand and no one else will be able to use flights on that sense whilst the TM is alive.
In my opinion the domain is secure as long as the use given is online gambling. My veredict is low xxxx. Good luck to the OP on his/her sale.

Yes you are the most right, the word gambit is not related to gambling but still it is a dictionary word and still it can be used for whatever other thing other than those that hold the trademark. :hehe:

This is going to be REALLY hard to sell. Who makes a site for one chess move? Also, you have to be careful with your parking links. If Marvel trademarked the term "Gambit", then they could sue you for having advertising links related to it. I just checked your site and it looks like that's the case. Don't sell it and don't park it. You wouldn't get anything for it anyways.

Of course it can. But, anyone who is familiar with the word knows it as:
1. a game - TM,
2. a movie - TM,
3. a Marvel character - TM, or
4. a chess move - NO $$.
So to milk this domain for value, someone has to put in the value.
You have to spend time & money to make it a brand.
That time and money would be better spent somewhere other than OnlineGambit dot com.
After you spend all that time and $, it still doesn't sound like a great brand.
