Teams are big business. Think about Slack.com and HipChat.com. Slack was founded one year ago and is now worth 2.8 Billion dollars. Their focus: online team communication.

There are teams in many markets, so the domain name has a very broad scope. Management Teams, Development Teams, Fantasy Teams, Online Gaming Teams (Clans).

So besides targetting hot sizzling markets, the domain could also work as a brand: Online.Team (I can already see the complimentary cup holders)

What is the value of this domain?

It's a good match between name and extension. However, the keyword "team" is in the extension. So the "real" keyword may be "online" and that is not as valuable as "team". That being said and considering that these new extesnions are not yet very popular, I would say low to mid $xxx.

Indeed. You can't appraise when there is no established market.
The combo is decent but it is vague, I don't see a very clear business purpose.
Personally it makes me think of a red team (red.team is taken), this could be a team of penetration testers.

The problem is that there is no shortage of decent domains, especially when you're flexible on the right of the dot.

scriptdude, you have a nice name, flip it now and you will get the low $xx-$xxx, hold onto it for 5 years and you may even get less or a lot more.

This is just one mans opinion, I think you will be looking at high $xxx to mid $xxxx within 5 years. It all depends on the adoption of these new gtlds.

It is just way to early now to say.

I would pay $100 right now for it. That offer stands for 7 days. You would lose money and be silly to sell it for that, but hey, I'm a nice guy.

I tried flipping it, but it's too early. I agree with you there. I will hold on to it, but not as a domain. If I'm letting it simmer for a while, I might as well develop it into a similar site as https://www.teamsnap.com. Then sell it as a brand with a following.
