Online maps - copyrighted?

hi all,

i need a street map of a small city near where i live.
just a jpeg image.

can i go to m*pquest or g**gle maps, take a screenshot of what i want and add it to my site?

NOTE: i would add the SOURCE / CREDIT!

Example: Source: www.m*pquest.com or Copyright M*pQuest.com

if anyone knows, it's the NP'ers.

I live like 5 minutes from the Mapquest office in PA. If you goto their website they have an OpenAPI that you can use to actually add mapping functions to your website. Since they allow this for free I don't particularly think they would care if you just used an image of a map, but I don't know for certain either. You'd have to read their TOS. I'd probably just go the OpenAPI route, because then you know you're OK, plus it adds more functionality for your users.
