1.To tear up by the roots.
2.To get rid of as if by tearing up by the roots: Their goal was to eradicate poverty.

To be honest Stronge, I wouldn't put these anywhere past low or mid XX.

a) I dont see any lucrative development potential for an end user
b) There isn't a high demand for one word .US's.
c) Names arent appropriate to the extension.

But, in your favour:
a) Most major extensions are taken for both names (according to Moniker)
b) Potential end user: http://www.retortmagazine.com
