I think there are several layers of value to consider here... Even if it is 1 syllable, it may still need to be spelled to someone - like so many of the names in this thread would need to be (!). The 'best of breed', in this thread at least, are names like clap.com and swot.com which, in theory, should not have to be spelled to people.

Knowing how bad spelling is on the net though, I doubt there are many names at all that escape the need. Lol.
