What do you people think of .one extension? Should one invest in the good names? Any statistics on it?

I don't have any .one so far but just searched on name.com and renewal says the same...

.One renewals are very reasonable at $7 - $10 / year (depending on registrar of choice).

I like .one because it reminds me of .com

Just a personal antidote, but since May I've caught myself accidentally typing ".One" several times instead of ".Com"

I also count how many times I use the word "one" in conversations. We say "one" a lot in everyday conversations.

People like .One because it's generic, but also conveys meaning.

The One Registry did well because $7 / year is a reasonable price point, and also the registry did not reserve or premium price a lot of names like other nGTLD registries have done. Some registries like .OOO simply want to price gouge their customers and investors.

In my opinion, .one goes on a list of the top 5 nGTLDs released to date.

.ONE is very good new extension, but for now it is undervalued.

I have these .one names:

announce.one
telephone.one
wan.one
scores.one etc. ..

I think, .one extension is best choice for any company, as alternative to .com extension or build new brand , ONE as BEST, unique on the world.


I found only these sales records domain names with .one extension:

It does get a few sales though... bold .one and kms .one each sold for $4950 within the past mo. Both are very strong SLDs though with 260+ TLDs taken & 50+ developed sites on ea.

That appears to be the key for gTLDs... you must have these 2 things or incredibly synergy between the SLD + TLD to sell for any meaningful amount. And patience, since gTLDs much take longer to sell (increasing carrying costs while you wait)
