I recently landed Olympicians.com
An 'olympician' is an athlete participating in the olympic games.
The idea was to build a small automatic site (maybe utilizing RSS news) about well known athletes, and capitalize on the huge interest during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Peking next August, with ramp-up in June–July.
Interesting twist: it turns out the US Olympic Committee claims trademark rights to practically any word starting with the letter 'o' — or at least with 'olympic'. There is a lot of controversy about this (Google for olympic+trademark) with many lawyers finding it baseless and ridic (after all, the Olympic games have been around since 776 BC with "Olympia" being the name of the city in Greece where it started). But this does mean that Sedo.com, for example, in order to cover their assess, refuses to list any names associated with the Olympics. Now, this trademark controversy doesn't bother me at all, the word is used all over the planet in all kinds of contexts during the games. But I obviously must mention it here.
The reason I'm open to the idea of selling this name is that I have another project I want to concentrate on instead. And since the name is timely, I can not just put this project aside and come back to it later.
