Personally, I like it, but don't think you will receive much interest based on appraisals for a 411.com domain that I reggd. Seems to me that 411 is a good symbol for info, more specifically, phone # listings, but I think that you and I are members of a small minority w/ this one.

When I registered it I was thinking about all that IYP (internet yellow pages) stuff going on! So I might have to develop once I get some time to devise a plan

As a fellow NYer, I like this site, but since 411 and info mean the same thing, I think this one is too redundant. Would be okay to develop, I guess.

I don't see certain forms of redundancy as being a problem. ( ie Commerce.com, Network.net, Information.info.) For example, although business.info is preferable, the value of the search term "business info" is high making businessinfo.info a good, (although not perfect), domain name, despite the redundancy.

In the case of 411, the actual term "info" isn't being repeated so I don't have a problem here. The larger problem is getting the term 411 out there so people become accustomed to using it on the net. Additionally, I believe, 411 is a US phone code for info/assistance so will only work in US mkt or in other countries that may use the code.
