I was wondering what you guys think www.npgamers.com might be worth. It's been developed and was at one time receiving about 150 uniques a day. It's now just a stupid clan site because I no longer have a use for it. I noticied that somebody bought www.npgamers.net, so I was wondering if it may actually be worth something to somebody out there. Thanks in advance to anybody that responds.

Anybody have any ideas about this?

Assuming you no longer want to do anything with it, a nice cheap asking price might be in order if you approach whoever has the dot.net. Seems if they like the name enought to buy a .net for it, they might pony up a bit more moola for the dot.com. Open up a dialogue with them, feel them out, and then a price may appear.
If you were just selling cold to resellers, assuming all the old traffic is gone and this site isn't bringing in revenue, I'd apraz at around high xx to low xxx at very most. Probably the same if you approach whoever has the dot.net.
Higher if they're well-developed and have an advanced site/presence (I'm too lazy to go investigating them today).
It's a good, clear, straightforward gaming name, with a short and snappy sound to it, with benefit of once having presence.

If I were to develop it more (again) and bring more users toward the site, do you think that could bring up the value more?

Also, bannen, if you could investigate the .net that would be very cool. I'm not exactly sure how I should bring forth the idea that I want to sell the .com to them.

Just go to the 'contact' button if they have a website, or check Whois to see who owns that name. A 'Hey, I have npgamers.com for sale; you guys want to buy it for a very reasonable price?' line, short, friendly, direct, and especially with the 'very reasonable price' tipped in, will work if they're at all open to buying this name from you.
If they're not, or won't give you a price you feel you can't do without, then you're back to slogging away at marketing your name to the big bad world, like the rest of us.

Developing more will ALWAYS increase the attractiveness to buying a name. Even if your traffic isn't making you money on the site, an interested and canny domainer can usually tweak things, with traffic already coming in, to make some income out of it. Very attractive if you have a pre-existing traffic flow to a domain, not only for income possibilities but also to anyone who likes your site and may want to keep it running as-is, if that's a possibility.
