I agree, there's just something intrinsically wrong with a system when, not only are they apparently not doing their job well, they are blinded to any criticism that they actually amend policy to account for their potential bankruptcy. I can almost see these overpaid gazillionaires flying off in their corporate jets one last time as they jump out over Aruba with their golden parachutes unfurling...

This just proves how poorly managed these companies are. If it is for safety reasons, why not just video conference instead and save even more. I have worked for quite a few companies that do this instead of travelling, it saves both time and money.

That is one problem we have in corporate America, to many damned CEO's, and i found out some interesting stats since going to college, a lot of these butt heads may carry Diploma Mill Degrees.

Just watched these guys on World News as they were making their plea to us tax payers.
Robert Nardelli of Chrysler came closest to having his act together. He at least knew how much money he needed from us.(7 billion) He also said he would drop his salary this year to one dollar. Richard Wagoner of GM came across as insincere and invasive. While they were trying to coax needed info from him, he said the amount he needed would be substantial and he may come back for more.They tried over and over to get a dollar figure and he just talked in circles. He also said he cut his salary in half (from 3.4 million) and when asked if he would go to $1, he said "I'm not prepared to answer that today". Now the last guy just pissed me off. Alan Mulally of Ford. Smug and arrogant doesn't come close to describing this guy. He was joking and laughing about the whole thing right in front of the Senate and on Tv. When asked if he would work for a dollar, he said "I think where we are is ok" Where he is ok at is 9.4 million.
This is completely disguising and Alan Mulally of Ford is a jack ass and a pig.

Heck, i would even be just half pissed if one guy would have picked up the other 2.....it is/was not only getting out of hands, i press for more drastic measures....get their bank accounts seized and afterward put them in jail...millions of jobs are at stake, millions of life's, families, children who probably have this Christmas just canceled because of greedy a$%^&*% like them...don't get me started..i am about to call for a revolution!!
