Can anyone appraise http://www.nova-boards.com?
I know the name itself isn't that great but it is home to a very popular message board.
There are over 3000 members, alot of them are active.
Here are some average stats:
New members per day: 24
New topics per day: 210
Posts per day: 3228

As for hits... the stats can be found here, where you can see that the number of daily average visits is 3776.
You can also see referrer stuff here

Ofcourse, all files/database etc would come with the name.

Last month I made about $150 from selling banner/popup/sticky advertising space on Nova.

Yea, many have paypal, but not many have a big 'budget'
Most of the tranactions that go on at nova are for layouts or domains that go for usually under $5

$500-$1k Linda, good luck with whatever you decide to do...

Linda, you're wanting to sell Nova? I'm rather appalled. Anyway, I would sell it for at least $300 because some people are such suckers for loads of hits nowadays, so you should have no problem with gaining at least that much more wealth from it. Should that price be too low, I would suggest that the ideal highest you sell it for should be around $350 or $375.

Yea, if she excepts an offer it has to be at least something worth the time. I mean if you make $150 a month just from advertising, the offer has to be pretty high.

That seems a bit too expensive to me, but then again, I'm not exactly experienced in the field of what is and what is not too expensive.

I'm assuming it was closed down due to the false, ridiculous promises the owner made. I've heard that concert tickets were offered, and frankly, I don't believe that those were available in the first place. Also, I recall the owner speaking of an MP3 downloading service, but that would cost loads of money, so it sounded kind of fake, in my opinion.
