Welcome to my quandry. Are 98% of domains with a hyphen even if that's the correct spelling fools gold or not? Was this domain hand reg by you or did you buy it in an auction? Atom gave it a 6 on a 10 rating with an appraisal of $1,999. I'm guessing if you're lucky and get an offer it will be $250-400. That stupid hyphen which I've been a victim of in the past is likely going to prevent offers. For anything under $25 for you to acquire it is probably worth the flyer. The only hyphonated domains I ever sold were 6-7.org for $250 & 6-7.xyz for $100. Good luck to you. I'm curious how this one will turn out.
Aside from the hyphen, there is also a deal-breaker issue with the “s” at the end. That stupid hyphen which I've been a victim of in the past is likely going to prevent offers.
I think Atom is inaccurate because health-care.com is a million-dollar domainAside from the hyphen, there is also a deal-breaker issue with the “s” at the end.
Even the trustworthy Atom appraisal recognizes this.

When the domain was with the E p i k registrar for a long time, I was getting lowball $XXX offers but rejected them. The domain was getting colossal view stats on the marketplace, possibly because I made a lander for it and Google was ranking it at the top for the query "health cares."
Health care / healthcare is a mass noun. It refers to a system or field, not to individual countable items. Like other mass nouns (information, equipment, water), it does not take a plural.
Yes. Then “Cares” is the verb (from care), and “health” is the noun. The sentence just sounds strange because health is a condition, not something that usually performs an action.
If an empty for-sale lander ranks first in a Google search, that doesn’t bode well for the term, IMO.The domain was getting colossal view stats on the marketplace, possibly because I made a lander for it and Google was ranking it at the top for the query "health cares."
No chance. Even the best hyphenated terms don't sell for anywhere close to that.I think Atom is inaccurate because health-care.com is a million-dollar domain
Nice one. It never occured to me to also see what the difference an "s" would do on the Atom Appraisals. Do you think out of curiosity that if Atom gives a domain a 10, that you're almost guaranteed to have at least 1 offer for it within 2 years? If so, how about a domain ranked 9.1 by Atom. In your opinion, if you could buy that domain for $100 or less you should do it because chances arebetter than 50% you'd get an offer for it within 2 years? Thanks for your inputAside from the hyphen, there is also a deal-breaker issue with the “s” at the end.

Again, I don’t know anything about the odds.how about a domain ranked 9.1 by Atom. In your opinion, if you could buy that domain for $100 or less you should do it because chances arebetter than 50% you'd get an offer for it within 2 years?

Though "Health-Care" is arguably a better term than the ones listed here.

You have to live in Germany to register .deThanks for the valuable info. I found some more sold domains - probably my target is Germany; they love hyphens in domains.

Without checking, I would assume that the Health-Cares.net sale was related to SEO value not generic value.According namebio
Health-Cares.net was sold for $1.5K on GoDaddy in 2025

Usually, .net domains sell at a ratio of 5-10% of the equivalent .com domain, so if we base it on Health-Cares.net domain sale, mine would be worth $15K.
