What do you think of NorseDesigns.com?

I noticed the 99 cent thing from Godaddy so I jumped on a freshavails and found it. I'm a fan of Norse Mythology and history so I grabbed it.
Aside from the obvious design site that may use a lot of Norse emphasis, I was thinking it could be used as kind of a museum of images to show the beautiful and intricate designs the Norse people used on many things, including and especially, the viking longships.

What do you think it's worth, though? Also, what other suggestions do you have for its development? The uses seem pretty obvious, but I've seen some incredible ideas come out of this board before.

I like this one. I think its most commercial use would be to a design company called Norse Designs. If someone who was starting a design company liked it, it could become their website. Perhaps design bulletin boards? Perhaps art college design students? How about someone making that style jewelry? What about running it as a shop for norse replica jewelry like The Museum Store or Met museum store.

Museum idea is nice but where will you get the photos? Photos are not easy to get especially of rare items and can be very costly. You might get away with non-commercial use but that's probably not what you had in mind.

That is true about the photos, I either get permission for photos and end up paying for them or deal with possible copyright issues on them. Either way, it ends up being more trouble than it's worth.

I like your ideas. Maybe I can find some sites similar to what you mentioned with affiliate programs. If I was better at designing sites, I'd definitely use it as a name as I'm a huge fan.
