Odd name, memorable I think, 80 hits in first three days I've had a blank page up.

Curious as to possible value, quite attached to it so would be difficult to agree to any offer.

Thanks,

Wojtek

Low to mid xxx maybe more to a end-user. Not a bad name.

Dutch market?

I think a name like that appeals nicely to the Dutch market. "noot" being "note" in english. Brilliant domain name for that market. Worth high $x,xxx if it is directed to somebody in holland or belgium even

wow

That's an interesting point. I shall see what I can squeak out of Holland then.

Thanks,

Wojtek

I like it brandable & memorable $1,000 but might go for a
lot more if some company has the combo as an acronymn.

It is a nice short one ;) You can pronounce it - and it has meaning in another country obviously ....

Wordtracker
noots 34.0 /day
noot 8.0 /day

Overture (US)
noot 6.7 /day

Overture
noot 48.5 /day (Netherlands)

Very Nice four letter Imo ~ I'd say Low to Mid xxx$ Would be easy enough - Find a End user for it and it should Go a good bit higher :) Good Luck with it ....

Great domain, would make a good portal or search engine... of course, that's a horribly crowded market... it could be used for pretty much anything.

I'd pay $xxx... but it's probably worth more ;)

curiosity

Funny thing is that the longer you think about it, or the more often you say it to yourself, the better it seems to sound. noot. noot. noot noot noot.

Anyway, you guys have all spurred me to work on it again. It was all part of a big plan at the height of the dot com boom. Wave has passed, idea unrealised. I suspect that's a common story.

I cannot comment on the name, but this was a good read....

Noot sounds like one of those great brandable domains, a la Kozmo/Flooz, etcetera. Seems like it could be VERY VERY catchy developed.

As for it being the Danish version of note - what kind of note exactly? Leave-on-the-refrigerator notes? Student notes? Financial notes (here in the U.S., dollar bills are technically notes, and there are dozens of infomercials for finance note programs, a la Russ Dalbey)? I think the exact meaning could affect the value.

Regardless, you MAY want to try to brand it stateside. Wouldn't you rather target it to 280 million Americans than 16 million Dutch?

Or you could grab noot.nl and target both. :)
