Use SpyBot Search & Destroy, Lavasoft's AdAware, and HijackThis. They solved the problem for me when I got it.

Hope that helps :tu: !

I found you removal instructions on Symantec's (Norton) website. I'd also make sure you have some kind of anti-spyware/adware program as well on the computer to do regular scans. The programs mentioned by True_Snake above are all great, I use all of them myself. :tu:

You can just uninstall that one. But needless to say Adaware will help you so get that!

I'm now Using Adaware / Norton / and Microsoft's new Spyware and Virus Alert Software.

That "180Search" Mess is one of the worst ones I've ever Encountered - Seems to be tied in with "Bargain Buddy" software as well , So be careful of that one too.

Good Luck :tu:

You can go to www.spyber.com
I've listed links to the free resources True_Snake mentioned (and more) near the bottom of the site.
I also recommend you to use the Hijackthis log analyzer listed there as well.

Good luck
:)

I've gotten this 180Solutions thing many times before; atleast 5. Once, what I did was start my computer in Safe Mode and went to C:\ and deleted the folders such as C:\180Solutions and C:\BargainBuddy.

It seemed to work for me :gl:.

Hope that helps :tu: !

You can't really uninstall it. It comes with "uninstall" instructions, but they're not meant to work :(
