Why are people having problems pronouncing ( Nee - wee) or ( Nin - twin - do)?

My 5 year old niece can say it just fine (can't you Megan)....she's so cute.

It is pronounced we. So it would be nin-tween-do which sounds like crap.

I'm sure someone told you the same thing about a--k.com, but you moved that one didn't you.

I hear ya'll yes it is pronouced "we" but since "nin-tween-do" does infact sound crappy I choose to go with "Nin-twin-do", much better and unique. Also I wanted to stay with the rythum of "Nin-ten-do", it ryhms.

I've already made some PPC money having Nintendo as the keyword. And will be making more as the Nintendo Wii integrates itself into our lives.

Plus at first glace does it not make you think of Nintendo?

The PPC although small is there and the reg fee will have been paid for within a week or two.... OK that's small potatos to most of you but to me having the DN pay for itself is GOLDEN.

I think the crux of people's comments about the pronounciation is that, in this context, wii IS pronounced "we", and you can't use a keyword yet expect people to change their pronounciation of it to fit in with your idea of a catchy name, if that makes sense at all.

Without development i'd say reg fee - I can't see it being a type-in name for people looking for info on this console and as for its brandability, it comes off to me as a name someone bought because all the good ones have been taken.

I think NiiWii would definately have more potential, however once again would need development.

It has no resale value at all as a domain name unless it's developed into a winner. Which is possible with any domain name.
