Hi all

While you are welcome to appraise it, I am actually equally interested in knowing how you would pronounce this one:

nife(.)com

I am not a native English speaker, so not sure how Americans or Brits would say it. Would it be the same style as "life" or as in "Nike"?

Thanks in advance. Will rep all posters.

I think it's a great name and quite brandable towards weaponry...Here in the states least I would say it like the weapon [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knife"]Knife - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] and as far as appraisal I'd say an easy $xxx mid sale if not more should be easily obtained...I'd take the name quick in this range.

Good luck on the name I believe you have a great piece of online real estate ;)

in my opinion its value lies in it being a pronounceable cvcv with quality letters.

and, again only in my opinion, the fact that it WOULD be "pronounced" like "knife" but DOESN'T have the "K" is a downside which creates confusion.... "NIFE.com.... just like knife, but without the k" is not the easiest way to brand.

Nonetheless a great domain based on its letters and acronym potential!

It's a good name.

However, you should be careful not to park it. It's very close to being called a typo of n i k e
and you definitely do not want any of that company's gear in the ads...

But it get's better.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NiFe
says it means nickel and iron batteries...

on an aside, I just saw that famly.com sold for 7k
in the namepros ticker above and your domain is similar calibre IMHO.
