Hi,
Please give your judgement to these 3 names,
i recently acquired:

Mandy.org
Jeanette.org
Angora.org

First 2 are fornames as you know,
angora is used for textiles/soft gods

Any kind of comments welcome

Around $15 each. Not much since .org is mostly for ORGanizations and I don't think they would use such names.

"Mandy.org" ... $45 - $75+ (wholesale), IMHO. Less for the other two (2), as I see 'em. I don't see too many "Jeanette's" around much any more, except for my Grandmother. :hehe:

i would never sell them for this little money,

Btw. .org isn´t meant only for organisations, it is and has always been open for everyone, even commercial clients.

Don't try to sell them here. For some reason, it seems that no one likes them here .

I love them......I have had such great success with selling them.

Don't let anyone here scare you away from .orgs.....or better yet.....let them, it will make it easier for me to grab them...:lol:

btw. no one can scare me away from .org ... sure they try for having them all themselves

I agree with Logop, I would never sell these for the low prices quoted here. The words 'angora' 'mandy' and jeanette' yield high numbers on search engines and Overture Search Tool. 'Angora' is especially good as it applies directly to an industry (fabric/fashion). Sure, the price would be lower than .com, but these all have substantial value. I bet angora.org would go for at least $1K, the others in the lower- to mid-hundreds range.

There are plenty of appraisals of .orgs here.
And there not all $20+
The .org tld can be a very lucritive investment. But the name needs to fit the tld IMO. In this case the first names work well.

Similar first names in the .net tld go for $50+ so I'm not sure how I could quantify a .org at a higher price

I am not personally aware of the potential uses of these (Mandy.org, Jeanette.org, or Angora.org) domain names, but considering that they are single word, first-name domains, they ought to hold a (lot of?) value for the Mandys', Jeanettes' and Angoras' of the world.

I am sure if you get these names in front of them, their eyes will light up. The key, however, is finding the right buyer.

Most of these names are going to be appraised way below their retail value in these kinds of reseller-centric forums. Resellers usually factor in their own guestimated cost of marketing of these domains names (as well as their own expected markups), and therefore, usually appraise them at a price that may seem to be way below their truel value.

And of course, who is not in this game to make some money? So take these appraisals with a grain of salt. I bet you already know that.

BTW, I visited your site, and you do seem to have some nice names on your site. Good luck with your sales efforts...
