So far I haven't made much money parking this name. I've tried using WhyPark and Parked.com without any success.

Do you have any ideas on how I can monetize this name so I can make some money? :hehe:
Is it possible to receive traffic on a parked .info name?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well, I am not surprised!

I have a lot of valuable two-word generic dot-coms without traffic and without income.

Comment on Estibot: It values my top domain at the level of its one-month parking income! At least the factor 100 off. Therefore: Forget Estibot! Your domain should be worth more to the right end user!

I would not really expect many visitors to your domain. First, it is info! Type-in traffic goes to dot-com, unless the extension "info" is explicitly entered in the search field. Back links could help, of course, and that is probably the only source of its present traffic.

The technical 2-word term "satellite cable" is not all that exciting. If you google it with quotation marks, you will see that this term describes co-axial cable connecting satellite antenna with the receiver.

Your domain, IMO, has some potential if well developed, but the only purpose to park it would be to have it on display for potential end user, who may wish to buy it.

.info history

I remember back in October 2004 godaddy ran their first special on .info's only $1.99. Now remember back then there were about half as many people in the domain business as their is now.

Everyone went crazy buying .info's. And there were some really good keyword names out there. However when the year was up... go daddy set the renewals at $9+ change. And if you turned the auto renewal off on these names, somehow godaddy had a way of turning them back on.

Tons of .info's dropping and the domain market changed. As domain parking evovled, most hard core domainers , like myself, went after traffic (type in traffic) names. I believe about the time the .infos started drop from the godaddy boom, revenue sharing started with parking and many domainers were seeing very large clicks on high traffic names.

Now I wanted assests and not liabilities. I wanted names that got traffic and unfortunately not one .info I had got any traffic. It was the .com/.net's and some .org's that got traffic. I was actually giving fantastic keyword .info's away. I gave away names like NevadaPoker.info and other really good keyword poker names. No charge for them... just here u take them before they expire.

Out of all the names I let go (about 25) the only ones I kept cause nobody else wanted was PokerBot.info and PokerBots.info. They renewed automatically and then when computers starting using bots to play poker I decided it was best to hold to them. And guess what.. They still get no traffic.

Maybe now you think I am crazy but domaining was different back then. I was doing over $12,000 a month in PPC near the end of 2005 and I was not going to wait on sit on .info's for them to get traffic or revenue.

.infos are not heavey traffic sites unless u develope them and i think many people still hang on to them and taking losses each hear until they get developed.

Thanks for the .info (pun intended) guys! :hehe:

Luckily I only purchased five .info's when I just started in this business. Newbie mistake. Everything else I own is .com. Actually, I do have a few .mobi's and .TV's which are just like .info's. Doing basically nothing! All will probably be dropped if I can't find an end user to buy them by the expiration date.

What is the best place to sell some of these domains to the end user? I did a search on NamePros for this question and came up with Sedo, SnapNames and the dreaded eBay. Any place else I should know about?
