hello,

i was just wondering if anyone can explain to me what association nic has with domain names what does this word mean and what does it have to do with domains.

I have a big list of good available domain names which include "nic" in it but first i would like to know what nic means

Avoid having nic in your domain names unless the nic means as short
NIC is Trademarked
nictalk.com doesnt sounds same as domaintalk.com to me although they appear to be
Although nametalk.com is fine
If you are looking a name for a domain forum, there are more better names than nictalk.com
