This is a good domain for an events related site. What immediately comes to mind is the dance music scene and/or festivals. It is a nice use of the extension. I would actively market it to end users to achieve the best sale.

Stay far away from these new extensions, you will waste your money...especially if its not a super-premium keyword

The match between name and extension is good. However, it's a two word name and the new extension is not yet very popular.
The best solution, if you decide not to drop it, is to develop it, imo.
