I just registered an expired domain name that shows up on the wayback machine 6 times in 2001, 4 times in 2002, not once in 2003 (guessing it was dropped). It shows up again from Jan to Oct of 2004 and then the owner let in drop. I type in the domain name which is a unique one for a google search and it shows between 35 and 50 sites linking directly to it. It shows nothing when I tried link:www.myuniquesite.com but has dozens of links in all the SERPS. My question is, how good of a find is this and will the age help me advance from the sandbox early?
