Unfortunately, it dropped this year, so from most domainers' perspectives it has 0 years age. That being said, there are some like myself that still see value in when it was first created. Additionally, endusers don't care about the age.
I think it has some value as a brandable music site for "new generation music", but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of search support for the keywords. Check out these exact match google searches:
"new generation music" : 170/month
"new gen music" : 10/month
"generation music" : 210/month
These are pretty much negligible values IMHO.. I am thinking these terms might have been more popular in 1998 when it was first regged, but that is just speculation. Also, I think "next generation" is more commonly used...
Archive.org shows that it had something going on in 2003-2004, but Majestic is showing 0 backlinks etc, so traffic value is probably nothing.
As a brandable, it is 3 "words" and one of the words is abbreviated which hurts it. The website "NewGenerationMusic.com" is not developed either.
You are looking at low $xx reseller and low $xxx enduser. If you can find anyone using those keywords in their branding, you might have a chance for more, but I'm not seeing much in Google..
Hope this helps!
