Newby at parking

Hello I am newby and I am sure some here might help me.

I registered 2 domains lately, and here are the names:

www.medicinepress.com
www.medicinesbuy.com

I joined domainhop, and set them up. They were approved in their category (which I considered to be Health). I also have set desc and keywords + the popups.

When I try opening the sites now, I get an "domain is inactive" statement which I don't know why. I have the dns(s) set up for ns1.domainhop.com and ns2.

I will ask here if I did a mistake, before I mail support.

ps: I read faq's and I've seen PTC and PTR are forbidden. From your experience, are TRAFFIC EXCHANGERS a method of getting results and unique clicks ? ?

pps: I am interested in putting a sponsored link of these 2 sites in some PPC engines when they show results. (example: www.bullcats.com - do a search : I can put in the right part (orange) - a table with sponsored links and have these 2 domains there) Would this be a good idea.

Seems like you did the parking set-up correctly. Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours or longer before the dns actually switches. Also, make sure you are just switching the dns at your registrar, and not telling your registrar to add new host servers. I made that mistake once

I got the same message when DH closed my account. I am guessing if it worked before and doesnt now that they closed your account.

yes my account is closed now .. but I don't understand why

it's the first time I did it ... and these are my first 2 domains to do it ... :-s

contacted them coz I really don't know what wrong was done :-s

I really think I didn't do anything wrong with this, and being MY FIRST TIME in parking, I don't think I would have known what to do. My domains had 2 or 3 unique clicks (so that I see if they work or not) and that was all.


Should I leave DH now and move to SEDO ? ? (to get my account denied here, too ? )

Ok so I parked on SEDO now ... to see it.

Maybe they won't kill me at start.

Now would someone be helpful and tell me how to bring the real traffic, coz I've seen SEDO to be very strict.

Is my idea to have the link for these sites as a Sponsored Link on diffrent PPC Search Engines ?

I think the sponsor link is a good thing, after all you get real visitors there.

As long as you stay away from paid emails, auto surfs, manual surfs, and sites like them you should be fine.

Did you click the link yourself?

I did a view on both pages, and after that I did 1 click on one of the domains to see if they work or properly set up :-s

As I said I am newby and I didn't know what to expect ....

But guess this was the problem.
I didn't do the same mistake in SEDO

wont matter with sedo as they filter out clicks from multiple ip's and yours also.

You wont get any grief from sedo but there again you wont also get as much $$$ as you would have at DH...

I have to say that this elitist exclusivety pimped by the likes of DH and GD makes me laugh. What purpose does it serve to refuse, decline and ban potential and current customers... More the merrier as far as im concerned

I would have to agree with you.

I didn't knew that 1 click to check it will harm. Why didn't they deleted the click from my account. It wouldn't have become a strategy for me to make clicks by my own.

Making a new account now is going to help or it will get banned again ? ?

PS: mailed them to ask about it and they didn't answered .. nice support :-s
