Hi,

I have acquired 5 *.com domains with some Internet history and parked them at Namedrive. 4 of them do not make any traffic at all but on the fifth one I get ca 200 visits a day. Mainly form Asia. I suspect this is because this domain used to be some chinese shopping portal. My problem is that almost none of the visitors click on the ads. I do not know why I tried to mock up some shopping portal - it did not work. Then I tried to supply info on cheap domains (suspecting that the visitors may be looking for expired domain) - it does not work either.

1. My question is what can I do to make visitors click on the ads?
2. Is 200 visits a day something extraordinary or below average?

Thanks for any help.

if your visitors are asian, and your links set for North America, where will be no clicks, simply because chineese traffic is not interested in american links. try to set this up correctly in domain management section at Namedrive
200 visits a day is great.

What do you exactly mean? I think Namedrive feeds links specific to region visitors come from? Eg. If I visit my site from my work (which uses UK servers) I see ads in English, when I open the site from my home computer I can see local ads in my own language? Could you be more specific on how to make the visitors click? I can even post the url for you to have a look but I am not sure if I can post it in this forum.

Your lucky you get 200 visitors a day. I'm happy when I get 5 visitor to one of my domains. Just try to target your audience in their country using keywords that attract them. Oh, yeah don't link your domain name. Just type it in and people will cut and paste it. Display it in your signature. Cheers.

Hi,

I just did the following: used translate.google.com to translate some keywords into Chinese and entered them at Namedrive. Let's wait and see if it incline anybody to click on the ads!

BTW the mentioned site is AE13.com

Use some educational keywords in Chinese. Like study abroad. That might help. Education abroad and home based business interests the younger visitors from Asian countries.

Or you could even try "chinese movies" and "asian dating"

You are doing pretty good with 200 visits a day. Make sure you relate you links to your audience.. Then you will get some clicks.

Things do not look good. So far I had ca 15 visits from Asia (I think China) and none click despite using chinese keywords. Bad luck :(

Are you sure your parking company pays for visitors from Asia? Maybe It's not showing or paying for the clicks! ??
