Just got Home - New.us Domain Portfolio finished up today.

what do you think so far ?

still little bits and pieces to be done.

hello,

i like the overall design...but......maybe i am getting older and my eyes are changing......... but the poke-a-dot background on the top left hand side hurts my eyes. The right side is okay due to solid background that breaks up dots.

I have the same problem with black backgrounds and yellow type.....maybe it is me?

Overall, great look.

Them poke them in the eye dots have got to go.

Very nice though, I agree the polka dots need to go from behind the text. It should impress end users and give them a sense of confidence.

The logo... I don't know what it is.. I keep thinking "LNEW.us or INEW.us" I don't know. I think it might be the font that's clashing a bit, because I think the pink accent could work quite nicely. Other than that, I love the layout.

Yes the design is nice, but the polka dots don't exactly appeal as much.
The logo is also a bit misleading.

so the polkadots just behind the text ? or the whole lot, i'll get them moved from behind the text and see.

and yes i may have to change the logo, it's the 1 thing everyone noticed lnew.us or inew.us

I like it lot, Very nice and to the point, The colors are nice and easy on the eyes, The polka dots don't bother me, I think they fit with theme pretty well. I like the easy navigation as well. I saw you said you are going to change the logo, that is the only thing i see that could use a face lift. Well done!
