New to NP

hello everyone. i'm new to np as of yesterday. i stumbled across it in trying to get www.4theboys.com. it doesnt seem to be in use, but it's not available. any help?

Hi welcome to namepros. The site you mentioned appears to be taken and it just looks like the owner hasn't uploaded a suitable site yet. All you can see is a directory index. If you're interested in purchasing it you should do a whois and email the owner:

Hello and welcome to NamePros "M". As abdussamad said, check the whois and e-mail the owner. You will not always get a quick response but if you truly want the domain you will find a way to get it. There are a few main rules you might want to check into which you can find here. I would also recommend you check out this, this, and this. These links will give you insight into how NamePros works and how you can earn yourself your first domain or new domains by just posting or doing odd jobs for the community.

Thanx for the many welcomes and advice. Dont mean to stay a stranger. i'm just on a mission. i'm totally new to domains, as this is the first one i've really tried to get (shame on me). i've professionally been in graphics for over 5 years, but never touched web design, this is even my first forum (i know, i know). hopefully this will be the start of something grand. some personal info; i'm a 27 year old graphic artist, born and raised in the DC Metro Area, USA.
