OK, so I'm new member and limited to creating 2 threads. I'm not really into "domaining" but Namepros is one of the better forums on the topic. I don't mind limits but 2 seems really chincy. Yes I could pay $2.50/thread every month but not really a good value. Now Netflix is a good value. Sling TV is a good value. I would call $9.95/month for unlimited posts a reasonable value. Anyway, I would love to be helpful but there are people much better qualified than I to help domainers so I guess I'm stuck with 2 threads. Suggestions?

Well, it cuts down on spam.
Cuts down on people who want to post 10 threads selling 10 domains.
So, be happy with two.
Or smile and pay to be able to post more.

It encourages more reading and less speaking, something we could all do better at. But honestly, if your aren't really into domaining why be here? I mean its super interesting to me, but if I wasn't interested in domaining I would surely find a forum more suited to something I was in to. Is it possible you might want to be more into it? if so, this is the right place and as a new member, read, read, read are the first three steps.

$2.50 is a BARGAIN. I pay $199 month for a mastermind group I'm a part of. If you plan on making money in this industry, that is a very small price to pay.

I don't think it takes that many posts to go from a new member to a member.. just stick around for a bit and you'll get more privileges :)

The rule is probably intended to minimize people from coming into a community to exploit it more than to contribute.

Since your facebook page is empty and your linkedin page is extremely thin for a "Strategic Marketing Communications Producer" then this rule could be apropos.

Seeing how the two thread rule was explained, all that is left for me is to welcome you to the forum @Jim Stablein

Welcome to NPs :)

Just take your top two domains and post them for sale, $5 extra a month to be a NPs supporter and two more threads isn't a bad deal either.

I'm here because I do have some pretty good .com domains that I'd like to sell and this one of the best communities where people do that. I have been reading quite a bit and learned that it can take many hours of work and some luck to find people interested a particular domain. We all have limited time and I have other interests that I put that time into but I also want people to know about the availability of the domains. So, I'm here among the experts. Thanks for asking.
