New Look, please review

We recently put a whole new spin on our website bassintips.com adding new links, easier to use. I'm looking for any thoughts, suggestions, or feedback about our new update

Looks well rounded. Good use of a CMS with the necessary sections to keep the user entertained. From videos to forum and relevant links, it's all there.
The logo fits, the favicon looks good - well done.

Looks really good. Only thing i would suggest is to make the main navigation a big more obvious.

Which CMS have you used?

We did not use any CMS, bassintips was all hand-coded.

I don't like the fonts used on the layout. Other then that, its decent.

Well you have a nice, simple but functional layout; it contains a lot of info but the page doesn't feel overwhelming (kind of reminds me of the w3schools page). The design is a bit lacking -I really don't care for that murky brown/cream color it has- and the layout has some small quirks.

A few points you need to work on:

The box below the bait box has a hard to read color combo. That dark brown with those small white later are a real eye strain but that blue is even harder to read. Also the brown letters on the blue background on the banner is a bit of an eye soar IMHO.

I dislike the thick black line on top of the content page feels out of place.

I would remove the small spaces on the left side of first column and third column (right side in IE).

I would extend the black title box, that appears on secondary pages, so that it fills the width of the content section.

On the secondary pages (check out Bass Fundamentals) the black borders on each side of the middle content column looks awkward since the content doesn't fill the whole column and the lines stop before reaching the end of the page (in IE you can't see them). Either remove them or have them reach the bottom of the column.

Your resource pages are a mess. The links and E-books pages are completely unorganized and incomprehensible. They shouldn't have there own layout and design instead they should fit into the the layout and design of your page. The report page is missing and I get an ugly 404 page.

Thats all I found, hope this helps.
