New HP Storage Chip 'Memory Spot'...

Hey Everyone,

Today HP released news about its new storage device named 'Memory Spot'. It is a chip which is less than the size of a grain of rice which has Wifi Connectivity Built in. The chip can hold up to 100 Words and also Pictures, Music and other media.

This leads the way for all sorts of storage in day to day items, such as Drugs packaging with directions for use etc. The chip will be about $1 per chip.

Sounds like it's the next step in Storage.

I was waiting all day to find out the name, and it seems it is Memory Spot from the image on this site which shows the HP Logo and Memory Spot. Looks to be an official picture of the working product. Should be out within the next year or two.

I have managed to register:

• RiceChip.com (In the time I didnt know the name)
• MemorySpot.org
• MemorySpot.co.uk

Hope It will be a good investment... any others got any 'Memory Spot' Domains?

Memory Spot It isn't Trademarked.

Blu-Ray is trademarked... but you dont see Blu-Ray.com having much trouble

Although there was speculation of HP changing the name... It doesnt look like they are going to change the name from MemorySpot!

Memory Spot is a pretty cool name if you ask me!

As I own the .ORG and .CO.UK I hope they don;t change it :]
