New Discover Bidding Policy - Just a headsup

Dear Partner,

Effective June 1, Discover is making changes to its affiliate bidding policy. Only white-listed affiliates will now be allowed to bid on Discover branded terms within paid search. In addition, any affiliate participating in paid search must negative match all Discover branded terms. A list of Discover branded terms is listed below for your reference.

Discover will be actively monitoring the search engines to identify any out of compliance affiliates.

If an affiliate is found to be violating the search policy, the following actions will be taken:

• 1st violation: Written warning from Discover

• 2nd violation: Non-payment for accounts generated in the month of violation

• 3rd violation: Removal from DFS affiliate program

The purpose of this policy update is to manage DFS' paid search costs in an effort to invest more heavily in the affiliate channel. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
