I notice 2 things:

1. You should link your other sites to winecoat.com, but not back. Reciprocal links count less and you're just draining your pagerank that way (when you get indexed).

2. Check your spelling unless you really are a member of the "Southern Califronia Better Business Beaure" ;)

But I agree getting back links is the most important.

Get on with some good content, off-page optimization and off course links as they are very imperative for the success of a website.

Get ads of the sites which are not directly competitive to your site.

You're gonna get hit with a duplicate content penalty (at the very least!) with those identical websites, especially linking them all together! Instead, REDIRECT those 3 other names to the main site with a PERMANENT (301) REDIRECT.

If you're not sure how to do that, search this forum - there were some posts about it recently.

And, like the OP said, remove the ads. You want people staying and buying your product, not leaving to (maybe) buy someone else's.

I purchased those domains as well. what should I do with them, should I just get rid of the links or make them all 1 page sites... ??!!! definately don't want to get penalized :'(

Not really ;)

Your search shows how many references there are to "wine" and "covers". These results contain a LOT of results that are not your competition. These are references to two keywords that are indexed.

If you want to have a good idea of the competing pages, a good estimate of the average of the pages that compete for this keyword combo it's actually a LOT less.

So the OP has a good chance if he directs his energy and efforts right to get a good SERP for this specific keyword combo.

Hi,

I'm sure you have heard of link baiting tactics to gain traffic to your site. Although it has become a less respected practice, it is still important to understand that your site needs to be recognized by different web communities; i.e. Digg, Delicious, Reddit, stumbleupon etc. Check out this link for a detailed description on how to link bait.
http://tropicalseo.com/2007/andy-hagans-ultimate-guide-to-link-baiting-and-social-media-marketing/
Also, for SEO purposes, focus on content, content, and content.
Here is another link developed by SEO Book that is very helpful for SEO. http://www.tools.seobook.com/
Finally, for your purpose, I would definitely work on a google adword campaign.

Rep Appreciated,
