Can someone who has the newest IE7 beta on their computer do a little test for me? I simply need you to type-in the following words into your browser bar and tell me where it goes (if anywhere).

sleep
car
google
msn
wonder
host

It must be done in IE7... not Firefox or any other browser. Don't put a .com or any other extension on any of the words. Type them in as-is, one word at a time.

10NP$ will be given to each of the first 3 posts. Thanks!

I wonder why the sleep and car links for those two searches are different....

could it be the LOCATION of the computer - connection to the net ??

or do you think has something to do with a rotation of search output...

or does it have something to do with what browser the person typing the word in has set as their default search page ??

what do you make of the diff. in the results ??

I think it's because one search was on a Canadian computer because one of the results is Sympatico MSN and it says "Canada Search" at the top left.

It's good info. Just the sort of thing I was looking for! Rep and NP$ added! Thanks!
