Need Redesign Of Boy Scouts Website

[The Equivocate]

My dad is on the committee for the local NWSC troop/district or whatever it since all my brothers are in Boy/Cub Scouts. This is only a volunteer thing, and if you look at the site www.nwsc.org you can tell that a volunteer has been doing it. The site is so badly outdated, there are a million links all over the place on the main page, and it's just all around inefficient. They want me to update information on the site but I told them I wouldn't be able to work under those conditions and it would be easier just to redesign the whole site to make things easier to find and update. Now obviously their current site isn't a piece of work, and I *could* take some time to design it myself, but I'm just wondering if anyone has seen any free or cheap templates that would fit a site like this. I've browsed all the template sites like templatemonster and found everything to be MORE than I need - I need to keep it as simple as possible but still somewhat attractive and efficient.

Can anyone help me out?

We have plans to offer free pages for Scout units at Scouts.com when we get the opportunity (full up with client work and then some right now).

If you're interested, send an email at the "Unit Pages" link at Scouts.com and we'll notify you when it is ready.

Otherwise I suggest googling Boy Scouts and finding a Council or Unit site you like and asking them if you may borrow a template. I'll add an "online resources" to the Scouts.com Forums (see link in my signature) soon and you'll be able to ask for help with stuff like that there.
