Need recommendation for Audio Software

I am building a site for a DJ who wants 10-20 second audio clips on the website. Currently I do not have any software that can take a regular home-made CD, and pick a track to slice up for this project.

It would have to be a program that could take any song I have (in regular formats) and make .mp3, .wav, .wma, etc.

Anyone have any recommendations?

you might try Audacity Software for cutting tracks. Its freeware and good.
