Need help with php paging, using mod rewrite.

Hi im paying someone 20$ to help me with a paging problem.
Should look like this


Page 1 of 27 1 2 3 > »
Page 5 of 27 « < 3 4 5 6 7 > »

«» these takes you to the beginning and < > these takes you one step backward or one step forward.

.htaccess currently looks like this
RewriteRule ^([a-z_0-9]+)/ /index.php?cat_id=$1 [L]
mydomain.com/lawyers/

etc

The url still needs to be seo optimized.
So is there anyone out the who could help me?
