Need Help with Design...Please ASAP

I have a design that I am using for my hosting company and I have been using it for awhile.Anyway the other day someone told me that it did not look right in Netscape.Now I have not had a copy of Netscape on any of my systems for about 6 years.The reason for that was I was in the adult biz and netscape sucks for that.Not to mention t may just suck.Anyway I was wondering about what my friend said so i want and downloaded a copy of Netscape and he is right.....my page is all crooked.I cant figure it out......When i fix it in Netscape t is wrong in IE.I did some searching and have seen that this is the companys jerking us around by making us decide on what browser to use.THe problem is I need things to be right.


My question is can someone help me out?I can give you some free hosting or something or pay.....Anysays i need to get ths right as soon as possible.I do not want to change the design as that would be a waste of what we have already done.Please PM or reply.Need done asap.I am up late so if someone is on West coast we may be able to do something now

Hi, maybe this help: http://devedge.netscape.com/viewsource/2002/gecko-compatibility/ I am going to look some more but it is a very difficult problem I ones entered a contest to find the difference in the code between the two exactly the same code pages bit totaly different display in Netscape and Explorer (I hope I can find this back) sofar Good luck

Layers

If you use layers:

Symptom
Layers are not properly displayed in Netscape.

Cause
Layers are created using DHML (Dynamic HTML). DHML lacks its consistent and standard specification. This draws different interpretation and creation of layer elements between Netscape, the precedent in developing layers, and Microsoft, which joined in this part later. This is the reason why two browsers differ in displaying layer elements.

Solution
To adjust the display discrepancies between two browsers, you should remove any potential causes that makes the display different.

1. You should not insert a layer inside a layer.

In case you insert a layer inside another layer, the bigger layer is called 'parent layer' while the layer inside the parent layer is called 'child layer'. Netscape cannot display the child layer. If you are using Internet Explorer, there would be no problem in seeing the example 1.

Also, Netscape does not properly display the position of child layer. So when you insert multiple layers, you should edit one layer first and place the cursor outside the layer and insert another layer.

2. You should not apply style sheets to a table inside a layer.

Two browsers show difference in interpreting style sheets. In case you apply style sheets to a table inside a layer, Netscape cannot properly interpret the position of the layer. In example 2, layer 1 has been inserted. And then a table has been inserted inside the layer, whose font size has been set to '5pt' using the Style dialog box. If you are using Netscape, the inserted layer is not displayed as specified. Thus, you should not apply style sheets to a table inside a layer.


3. You should specify the absolute position of a layer.

Example 3 has been created to fit the 800 x 600 resolution. See the document while modifying the size of browser window. Then you will realize that the position of layer changes according to the browser size. This happens because the text or images change their position according to the browser window size while the layer is specified with absolute position. Accordingly it is advisable not to insert layers in the midst of a paragraph. Insert layers at the upper part of the documents, where the unexpected influence of resolution or window resizing is less likely to happen.

Absolute position
Absolute position designates a position by pixels in terms of the top left corner of the browser window. The position is displayed all the same irrespective of the resolution or window size.

Relative Position
Reletive position deginate a position by relative value (%) in relation to the browser window size.
