Hi everyone, I am looking for a computer. I need to know any online shops that have good deals, or even if someone at this forum is selling a computer. I am trying to decide if I should just buy a computer will all my needs, or buy a low end computer and upgrade it. Well anyway, if you know any please post them here (besides ebay).

I would suggest building your own. Its pretty easy and very cost effective if you find some good deals. Also, you know if the parts you are using are high quality or not. If you need any help building a computer, check out www.syschat.com.

Check www.factorydirect.ca; they might have good deals. I'm not sure if they have locations in Quebec, but I think they ship there.

At this time i can only afford around $500-$600 CAD, but my piggy bank grows as time goes by :p

My advice is to custom build your computer by yourself. That's how I saved around $200 on my configuration :p It cost me $600 to build, I can buy a DELL one in Walmart for $800.

Also, you're in Ontario, so you can just go and pick it up. Especially if you're in the GTA. In addition, browse the site for other computers they might have!

Making your own PC usualy one of the best and cheapest places to go is a computer fair, you can also ask somone their to build it for you for a little extra cost. Am sure US & Canada must have this as in the UK their quite big. Check your local newspaper for details.
