"Neapolitan Mastiff" exact name for a rare dog breed... became recognized by the AKC (American Kennel Club) in 2004.

Just a little of what I know about Neapolitan Mastiff dogs... pet quality puppies sell for approximately $700 to $1200 or so. Show quality pups sell for approx $2500 to $3500. The very best show quality pups sell for $3500 to $5500 or so. Older pups, 10+ months old can sell for $5,000 to $8,000 or so depending on the "show quality." The very best adults sell for the low 5 figures. The most I ever heard of a neapolitan mastiff selling for was $25,000. These prices are for each individual dog. I learned all this from a relative who has been a neapolitan mastiff breeder for approximately 6 years.
If you've seen the movie "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone", the character Hagrid had a Neapolitan Masiff named Fang.
So, what do you think of NeapolitanMastiff.com?
