I have some strange issue with the drop catch API (/apibatch) over at Namesilo. For some reason it keeps charging me regular rates for .com domains even though I'm on the discount program.
3 weeks ago is when I used it for the first time and noticed this ... I contacted support and they credited me and told me the devs would look at it...
Now almost a month later I use it again today and I'm still being overcharged. I sent another email under the old ticket but no response yet. I contacted live support and the support person told me "the ticket was escalated [3 weeks ago] and you have to wait for the devs to code a fix for it"...
So I'm being overcharged for using the drop catch API and have to wait months for the "code" to fix it? LOL
Is this some kind of scheme from Namesilo to dissuade people from using the drop catch API? I really don't get it. Is anyone here currently using this API to catch .com domains at the discounted price of $11.05?
Please don't reply to the thread saying how drop catching with APIs is not worth it, that isn't what i'm asking.
