I have NamesAppraiser.com and DomainNameOptimization.com
Just curious if these two have any real value?
Because they are 2 and 3 words long at 14 and 22 characters, but they have been continually registered for 19 and 21years.
The GoDaddy estimated value for the longer domain name is twice that of the shorter one.
This is confusing me, because it would make sense if it was 2 words like DomainOpt... or NameOpt... instead of 3.
What am i missing, what are the potential real values, and if any potential interest here for either?

Thank you kindly!

Garbage. Drop both. GD will appraise almost everything at $1000+ because their goal is for people like you (newbies) to register as many domains as possible with them.
Their appraisal (pretty much like anyone else's) means nothing - zero.

Thanks VK, it does seem that appraisals from different platforms can vary widely as well.
Does the domain age have any factor for someone wanting to develop or optimize a domain name?

Of course. Authority, backlinks, spam history, penalization, etc. But it seems to me that you are mixing up two different things: buyers who would go for domain names and buyers who are looking for SEO value. These two types of buyers almost never overlap in reality. You have to have either a perfect name or stunning SEO history with tons of good backlinks. Absolute majority of people of this forum are selling and buying names, not ''history''.

Do you know where to sell if I have SEO domains like 40+ DR and 40+ DA with less than 15 spam score. No one seems to be interested in them at all. Thanks

You can try it here on NamePros, under ''Sell'' section. But generally I am not into SEO domains, so, don't know about specifics...

Thanks. Tried that but couldn't find a buyer. Just need your opinion about what you think fair price for these domains could fetch (I own them but cannot seem to find a buyer) HolyEyes.com and Curdler.com (curdler is english word)

Even though they are not complete shit (assuming you are newbie), they are not good either. I'd price them at $1000 each on a lander and forget about them until renewal. If they don't sell (99,9% probability), I would drop them. There is nothing you can do to accelerate the sale.

Thank you VK, this is one reason for choosing these two particular names to discuss. It is good to inform people wanting to invest their real life money into domains who are planning for their future values. It seems that names like these two possibly had some value 20 years ago, with not as many extensions available. Today it is only the shorter (less than 10) character names with easy verbalization that have any real value anymore, in part because of all the extensions available today. I agree with letting the longer 3word name go even though the registrar shows twice the estimated value for it. However, i think maybe NamesAppraiser could still have some potential, particularly in this era of ai capability for massive data analysis and computations. Although to be the most accurate each appraisal would still need processing and final evaluation to be done by a human professional and not left to ai alone.

Guys, it's a long road ahead. You need to learn a lot - what makes a good name, how to spot one, how to buy it, how to build a portfolio, and occasionally sell some. It takes many-many hundreds of hours of work.
Read this forum and be ready to dive fully into the subject if you want to succeed. If not - well, domaining isn't the easiest (not even close!) way in the world to make money. It's not for everybody.

Name Appraiser, without the 's' sound better, imo.

Thanks URL, i think without the 's' sounds better also. Which brings up the next question. Would having both create any more value together? Would it be beneficial to appraise relative domains together in bundles?

Thanks VK, you have a great point about the many hundreds of hours to gain the experience and learn what is needed to be successful. Even though this has not been a business for me over the last 20 years (more like a hobby), there has been a purpose to all the time and money spent for something good. A difficult part of the process is the monetizing that is necessary as your portfolio grows, unless you are really rich already. That is what makes the questions of appraisals and optimizing so interesting with the range of experience and various opinions.
