Hey, domain sellers! 👋

We have a special surprise for you.

Continuing from last year (and last week), we have some exciting updates to share with you about NamePros Parking Landers!

First, consider this:

You price your domain name at $2,500. For years, hundreds of interested buyers want to buy it, but the price is too high for them. They don't even try to contact you because they don't realize that the price is negotiable or may change. Years later, you decide to lower the price to $995. How many previously-interested buyers would buy it at this lowered price? You’d never know — until now!

With our new Buy Now options, you can finally contact those previous buyers to increase your sales opportunities. 💸

Here’s how:

Our landers have an option that requires buyers to confirm their email address before they can see the price. Once confirmed, the price is available to them and their email address is available to you. Simple and effective. Learn more on DNW.com.

@Bravo Mod Team

Now that Dynadot has forced a lander change upon us, I'm on the hunt again.

Of course I am fond of the NamePros landers...just bugging you about the next big update that might include traffic stats.

We (domain sellers/customers--at least I was not) were not consulted and Dynadot has taken the long term visitor stats away and now have an every other day reporting on their graph...something I do not like. Hopefully the NPs graph will be long term or at least give us the option of selecting the 'time frame' of reporting.

how about landing page like this? (email is not linked, it's just a text)

Show attachment 275925
Hilco Digital does this, too:
Example: http://poster.com/

It should be easy for us to do, but you wouldn't have spam prevention, your buyer's location, or a bunch of other features that we provide.

Maybe you'd like a simpler version of our landing page instead that just has a single "Contact seller" or "Start a conversation" button below the short description area?

Note that the offer field can already be disabled on our landers:

@Paul is actually working on this next. 😊

Could you share why you prefer internal stats over using our Google Analytics integration?

That'll help us make this feature useful to you.

I like having multiple sources of data.

Until this last change (within 24 hours) I was happy with the Dynadot graph...it gave a monthly count. The only problem is when you pointed away from their landers, the graph line would dive and bottom out. Their system would not clearly indicate a break in parking if you returned to their landers.

Although not showing now, this morning their graph was showing an every other day number so the graph looked snaggle toothed (not that there is anything wrong with being snaggle toothed).

The monthly graph, to my mind, showed consistency in visits...what I'm saying is your average dweeb could keep opening browsers and punch up daily visits to make a graph look better...any person paying attention to a name would spot that.

I like having both 'on site' counts as well as Google...this way I and any potential buyer can look at the two numbers and take away what I/they will. When throwing a pitch at a buyer, I take the 'site' count and add it to the Google and get an average.

In your experience, how have stats from Google Analytics differed from the "on site" counts from other providers? What would you like to see in our stats that would provide the same utility, and what would make them redundant with Google Analytics?

Of course GA gives lots of data...truth be told, a lot of it is not useful to me.

One thing I like is location. By having that available, a bot network can be eliminated when watching visits closely. Another use is gauging interest...there is a name I've been negotiating on for almost a year. It is a perfect fit for a large, well funded company and when I see a flurry from the town it is headquartered in, it lets me know I've done something right in my 'marketing'.

Of course a buyer does not need to see lots of numbers/data, just what is important to them...possibly just current visitor data. So a simple graph of visits (monthly, maybe weekly) would do. I would like to see you put time into making something 'pretty' more so than having all kinds of clickable/searchable features when it comes to someone visiting the lander. Something to satisfy their curiosity, if they have it, as to how many other visits there are to the name.

Of course we know all it takes is one visitor that really wants the name to make a sale, but a nice lander ain't gonna hurt! :xf.wink::xf.smile:

Are you talking about making the stats pretty because sometimes you're going to send screenshots of stats to buyers?

I was being a little cheeky with the 'pretty' part but they do need to be engaging...I would not send a screenshot, just encourage a potential buyer to notice the non-bot visits. Being able to toggle that graph on and off would be important as well...some of my names tend to gather dust.

Since I've gotten confirmation that the changes to the Dynadot landers are for real, I would suggest something like they had. It was a monthly count, and as the graph data was being imported to the landing page, it started at one end and the graph line went up and down/up/over actively until it reached the end. Of course coding made this happen, but it is engaging and would draw and keep the eye until finished.

I'm not sure they did that on purpose, knowing it is a sales technique, but it was interesting as well as 'pretty'. In one of my recent sales, that graph played an important part (don't ask me why :xf.wink:). Additionally, I did my own testing and the colorful border/background beat out the gradient single color 2 to 1).

I think that if we can check a setting that says something like "show stats if visits over X amount in a month" (or week or day) so that buyers see there is traffic, then it may create a sense of urgency. IMO.

Are you requesting that we show stats on the actual landers so visitors can see them? That's not something we planned on doing, but it'll be an option for us to consider once we have the stats functionality in your parking dashboard, which is what we thought you wanted.

Yes, it would be nice if we had the option to display visitor stats on the landing page. If we only have the ability to see them in the dashboard that is understandable.

Buyer probably don't care for them statistics so if it's added it should be only added as an option on display page

i don't think so. i knew few people just buying for traffic and they don't care about the name. it depends upon the different type of buyers.

it's good to know the traffic for the landers in seller aspect to adjust the price.

Any new updates on lander progress?
Yep! We have 2-3 highly-requested updates coming in the next week or two, along with a handful of smaller updates.

Plus a few more updates after that, and then we're going to focus most of our energy on getting our monetization solution ready for everyone who wants to use it.

We hope that solution will be ready this year to help sellers pay their domain renewals and earn a profit, without hindering serious inquiries/purchases. 😊

It'll still rely on your domains receiving traffic. If your portfolio doesn't receive traffic, there isn't any magic fairy dust we can sprinkle on them to fix that. Part of monetization will be giving you the data you need to cull whatever isn't worth keeping.
